prosilica_driver: prosilica_camera | prosilica_gige_sdkProsilicanode ROS driver for Prosilica GigE cameras. Note that the ROS API varies depending on whether the driver is in streaming or polled mode. In streaming mode it publishes to camera/imageraw and camera/camerainfo like any other camera. In polled mode it publishes on request to a client-specified namespace, following the polledcamera.
- NOTE: The recommended way of using Prosilica cameras in ROS is through the driver in prosilicacamera. You need only use this package directly if you are writing your own software for interacting with Prosilica cameras without going through ROS.
- DriverHive is a driver updater service that will scan your computer's installed devices, identify the best fitting drivers and provide them in an easy, convenient format. Individual drivers may be available on manufacturer websites at no charge.
- In hydro all of the command line tools (SampleViewer, ListCameras, etc.) that used to be distributed in the prosilicagigesdk package appear to be missing. The package also seems to have been removed from this repository during the caki.
